Boarding

We are proud to provide Adel, IA, and the surrounding communities with pet boarding services. We practice the highest standards of care and cleanliness for patients staying with us. We know that it takes a great deal of trust to leave your pet with someone else, so we want to assure you that we are professional, highly trained, and most of all, we love pets!

Did you know we offer specialized cat boarding? We are a cat-friendly practice which means we make it our top priority to provide the following for our purring patients- a safe place, meet their basic needs, play opportunities, positive human/cat interaction, and respect their sense of smell.



Our cat-only boarding area is a safe place for our feline friends to be away from the hustle and bustle of the clinic. Each cat gets his or her own kitty condo, but can share with a brother or sister if you prefer. The door is made up of an open area on top but frosted on the bottom so that they can get as much interaction or privacy as they would like. And there are multiple levels to allow for a bird’s eye view of the cat area if wanted.

Clean, fresh water is available all day and night. Each cat is fed per owners directions with either food that you bring from home or our diet. A litter box is provided and cleaned at least twice a day. Beds and blankets are given to our guests to relax on.



Requirements:
All of our guests must be current on ALL vaccinations (Bordetella, Distemper, Parvo, Rabies for dogs) + a Negative for intestinal parasites (negative stool sample) PRIOR to their check-in date. Cats are required to be up to date on vaccinations (Distemper, Upper Respiratory, & Rabies). This is to ensure the safety of all our boarding guests.

Payment for boarding and services is required at time of checkout. Special arrangements for veterinary services should be made at time of reservation or admittance.

Check in / Checkout
Boarding check in/outs are available Monday through Friday ONLY at this time from 8:30a-11:30a and 2:30p-4:30p, or by appointment ONLY. Please bring any medications and/or special diets so we can help continue your pet's best care. You will be expected to fill out our digital boarding admittance form PRIOR to your pet's arrival. It will be emailed or can be sent via text to you as well. If you didn't receive one feel free to click here. If you haven't made your reservation please do NOT fill out this form. Request a boarding reservation through our app.

Pets will be discharged during regular business hours. If you return early or on the weekend, you are able to pick up your pet between 8:45 and 9:00 a.m. or 4:45 and 5:00 p.m. One of our experienced team members will be available to meet you when they come in to provide care for our boarding pets.
