Hi! My name is Amy. I have always had a love for animals and knew from a very young age that working with them was the right career for me. I attended the Bel-Rea Institute, where I completed my schooling in March 2007 with an Associate of Applied Science degree in animal technology and from there went on to get my state certification in June 2007. I have had the pleasure of working in small and large animal clinics, a specialty clinic specializing in neurology, and even enjoyed some time working in the pet insurance industry. My husband Ty and I live on a beautiful little acreage near Dallas Center and have two fur babies. Dierks a Labrador Retriever and Benelli an American Bully. In our spare time, my husband and I love to be outdoors! A few of our favorite activities are hiking, camping, riding horses and boating. Oh! And traveling back to my home state…Colorado! I am so excited to be a part of the Adel Veterinary Clinic family. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members!
